’60s Style, Modern Upgrades
The Classic Player ’60s Stratocaster combines classic design with contemporary upgrades appealing to guitarists everywhere at all levels. Designed by Fender Custom Shop Master Builder Greg Fessler, it offers classic and contemporary elements with 1960s-era Strat® style and fine features such as custom ’69 pickups with modern switching, the comfortable feel of a modern neck profile and flatter rosewood fingerboard, classic two-point synchronized tremolo bridge and much more.
Features
Maple neck with “C” profile
12”-radius rosewood fingerboard with 21 medium jumbo frets
Three custom ’69 single-coil Stratocaster pickups with five-way switching
Mint green pickguard
Two-point synchronized tremolo bridge
Vintage-style tuners

Medium Jumbo Frets
Not too short, not too tall. Not too wide, not too narrow. On a guitar fingerboard, medium jumbo frets are the "Goldilocks" size—just right for any sound and playing style.

12" Fingerboard Radius
This instrument features a fingerboard radius (the amount of curvature across the width of the fingerboard) that, at 12", is substantially more flattened than both a vintage-style 7.25" radius and a modern 9.5" radius. Feels notably flat even though there’s still slight curvature, and is ideal for bending notes without fretting out

Custom ’69 Pickups
The Classic Player 60s Stratocaster features the superior sparkle—and perhaps even scream—of three specially voiced Custom ’69 single-coil Strat pickups that produce the full, punchy tone that defined rock in the late ’60s. They deliver a warm, vintage-style sound with balanced output and volume.

Upgraded Bridge
Get authentic original-era style and reliable modern performance from the upgraded two-point synchronized tremolo bridge on this Stratocaster, which features vintage-style stamped steel saddles.

"C" Neck Profile
The neck of this instrument has a comfortable "C" profile (the shape of the neck in cross section), sculpted to impart a vintage-style playing feel from Fender’s first golden age in the 1950s and ’60s. The most prevalent neck profile shape, it’s remarkably comfortable and is ideal for all playing styles.

Fender Custom Shop Designed
As if this instrument’s innate coolness and terrific features aren’t enough, it’s also designed by the acclaimed master builders of the Fender Custom Shop.
