This bass is being sold as a PROJECT and is in need of some attention. First off, the neck has a fairly drastic twist; the bass side of the neck turns upwards away from the treble side. The truss rod nut is also maxed out, but the neck still has quite a bit of relief. The frets are very low and flat and a refret will be greatly beneficial. This bass has also been refinished. It's not a professional refinish and it's hard to say exactly what type of finish was used, but it seems to be an older job and looks the part. Otherwise, this bass has a handful of light dents and dings, as well as some scuffs and scratches. The hardware has some notable tarnishing and the pickguard has some scratches. The truss rod cover is included, but both ends with the mounting holes are broken off. Otherwise, this bass is in original condition and will make a super cool player with a little TLC.

Fretwear
This frets on this bass are extremely low and flat. A refret will be greatly beneficial once the neck issues are corrected.

Electronics
This bass needs some electrical work; the bass produces sound, but none of the controls work properly. What would normally be the bridge tone control is the only control that changes anything, and it actually raises the volume just a bit when it's rolled all the way off. The other tone control, both volume controls, and the varitone switch are all wired up, but have no effect on the output or tone. It's hard to say what electronic components are original or not, as the wiring is messy and there is a lot of extra solder on the backs of the pots.

Case
This bass includes an old chipboard case. Like many, this one is in rough shape and an alternative should be considered.
