CloseThis guitar is SUPER cool, and while it's obviously seen many miles in it's lifetime, it's in solid physical condition and plays great but as with any guitar of this age, there are some quirks present that may need a quick look to preserve the longevity of this extremely cool old guitar and is being sold as a PROJECT.
The only damage of major note is that the guitar what seems to be a long repaired crack at the upper bass side of the top. The nut is more than likely original and is still cut well, but has been glued down slightly left of center. The tuning keys seem to be original, but the plastic buttons are fragile and this need to be considered when restringing. All the binding is attached tightly around the entire perimeter of the body and neck, but there are a few cracks in the binding here and there. The top of the body seems solid with only some super light inward bow at the bridge, but the guitar is still very much in playable condition with no apparent issues with the top. The original pickguard has long since been removed and is not included. Otherwise, there are numerous scratches, dents, chips, and finish wear all over the instrument as to be expected on a guitar of this vintage, as well as some natural finish checking all over. Otherwise, this guitar is a beautiful instrument with plenty of real world mojo and is a wonderful player as-is, but will make for a FANTASTIC player with just a little TLC.
Fretwear
This guitar has some typical wear on the first few frets. Frets are original but the guitar still plays with no issue, but the frets and fingerboard could use a quick cleanup during the next restring.
Action
This guitar doesn't have an adjustable truss rod, but the neck still has optimal relief, and the neck angle is great with no sign of a past reset and doesn't currently need one. The action is medium low and plays great, but may require a quick tweak to your liking.
