ClosePhysical Condition
This guitar is in good condition for it's age, but has been played quite a bit and shows some wear. First and foremost, the finish has been sanded off the back of the neck, which seems to have been done long ago. The neck feels great, but there are plenty of sanding scratches at each end that are a bit unsightly. There are also areas over the guitar (truss rod cover, raised logos on pickups and tremolo, etc.) where it seems as if someone painted these areas red at some point, and most of the paint has worn away leaving a slightly reddish-pink hue in these areas. Otherwise, this guitar is in solid condition, but has lots of scratches, dents, and a few finish chips from many years of playing and handling, which are all made more noticeable due to the black finish. This guitar is largely original as well, but the back plate is misshapen along the sides, and is more than likely a spare back plate that's been roughly made to fit this Charvel. All of the tough to find parts (all tremolo components, locking nut, switches, etc.) are still there and in good working condition. Most of the screws are a bit rusty as well, and some of the smaller screws for the back plates are nearly rounded out and take a bit of finesse to remove if needed. Otherwise, there is no other cosmetic damage to make note of aside from some superficial scratches associated with years of normal play and use. Overall, this is a great sounding and playing guitar. Non-original tremolo arm included.
Fretwear
This guitar only has some light wear on the first few frets. Plays great.
Action
Action is medium low and plays great, but may require a quick tweak to your liking.
Electronics
This guitar seems as if it's has had some electronic maintenance done over the years, but all of the electronics work properly in their factory manner, and sound great.
Case
No case or gig bag included.
