CloseThis amp is SUPER cool and in good condition for it's age, but has been used and has obviously seen plenty of wear and tear. Most importantly, this amp works perfectly and sounds good, but as with most old Champs, the original speaker is a bit ratty sounding so a replacement speaker would make a world of difference for this amplifier. The original two prong cable has also been replaced with a grounded three prong cable, and the death cap has been removed. Otherwise, this amp seems to be 100% original, and although the amp works and sounds great, it may be time for a few caps to be replaced by a qualified amp tech. Otherwise, the amp has acquired some real world patina over the years which looks great. There are a few scuffs and dings in the cabinet here and there, and some oxidization, rust, and missing paint on the face plate. The tolex, faceplate, knobs, and the inside of the cabinet are very dirty, and the the grill cloth has discolored a little over time. This amp is also missing the top panel on the back of the cabinet. Overall this amp sounds and looks great, but as normal with all vintage amps, it's highly recommended to have this amp inspected and serviced by a qualified amp tech for the safety of the amp, and of the player.
