This guitar is being sold as a PROJECT and is in need of some quick work before it's ready to use.

First off, while this Stratocaster is technically playable as-is, it's missing a few parts and will need some work before it's ready to gig. The saddle for the high E string, both string trees, and two neck screws are all missing, along with the tremolo arm.

Otherwise, this guitar is in fair condition, but doesn't seem to have had the easiest life. The finish is heavily checked and cracked across the entire neck and headstock, and some areas may flake off if agitated enough. There are many bumps, dents, scratches, and finish chips on the body, and the finish overall is a little dull and hazy. This guitar is also fairly dirty in the nooks and crannies (pickups, tremolo, tremolo route, face of headstock, etc.) and would greatly benefit from being fully disassembled and deep cleaned. The pickguard is covered in scratches and scuffs, and the hardware is heavily worn and tarnished. The strap buttons and knobs have been changed, and the original parts are not included. There are also some screws and bolts that are rusted over and will probably need to be replaced. With a bit of work, this will make a for a great player grade USA made Stratocaster.

Fretwear
This guitar has quite a bit of fretwear, and a level/crowning may be necessary in the future. The frets and fingerboard are both in dire need of cleaning and conditioning, as the frets are heavily tarnished and the fingerboard has quite a bit of gunk that needs to be cleaned off.

Action
Since this guitar is missing a saddle and two neck bolts, this prohibits an exact setup in it's current state, however, the action is medium and shouldn't have any issues setting up to your preference once the missing parts are reinstalled.

Electronics
This guitar has had some electronic modifications, and may need some additional work before it's gig ready. A Seymour Duncan Hot Rail pickup has been installed in the bridge position, and the original bridge pickup is not included. The neck and middle pickups seem to be original. The pots may not be original as there is some fairly haphazard wiring under the pickguard, and the pots are a little scratchy. The switch can be a little tough to move and is also a bit scratchy. The guitar will cut out and produce some electronic buzz intermittently, so a new switch, jack, and set of pots wired up properly would be a huge help.

Case
No case or gig bag included.
