USED Epiphone Les Paul Special Double Cut (919)

Physical Condition
This guitar is in great condition with only some light wear. Most notably, there are some scuffs along the edge of the back of the body along the lower corner, as well as a few faint scuffs and swirl marks elsewhere over the body. There are also some light scratches on the pickguard and some mild tarnishing on the hardware. Otherwise, this guitar is in clean condition with no other cosmetic damage to make note of aside from some superficial scratches associated with normal play and use. Overall, this is a great sounding and playing guitar.

Fretwear
This guitar only has some slight wear on the first few frets, but no other type of fret damage.

Action
Action is medium low and plays great, but may need a quick tweak to your liking.

Electronics
This guitar has some notable electronic modifications. First off, a Dimarzio Tone Zone P90 is installed in the neck position, and a Dimarzio Super Distortion P90 has been installed in the bridge position. This guitar has also been wired up with four push-push pots, similarly to the Jimmy Page wiring setup. The neck and bridge volume controls serve as coil taps for their respective pickups. The bridge tone control adds the neck pickup in series with the bridge when the selector switch is in the bridge position. The neck tone switches both pickups in and out of phase in the center position. All electronics work properly and sound great.

***It's important to note two things; first, the controls are reversed, so the upper two knobs are for the bridge pickup, and the lower two knobs are for the neck pickup, which is all the opposite of a standard LP control layout, however, the selector switch works in the original up/down orientation. Next, when the Bridge Tone Series/Parallel switch is activated, the bridge pickup volume control acts as a master volume, the neck volume control is bypassed, and if the selector switch is moved to the neck position, all signal is muted, which is all normal with this switching layout.***
