ClosePhysical Condition
This guitar is in good condition, but has been played quite a bit and shows some wear. Most notably, there are many bumps and dents over the body of this instrument. Some of the dents are only shallow impressions, but many of the dents are just deep enough to have fractured the finish inside the dents. There are also some light scuffs, scratches, and swirl marks on the body, and there is a small dent on the face of the fingerboard just below the 2nd fret on the treble side of the neck. There are also many scratches on the pickguard, and the pickguard is slightly wavy and misshapen. The hardware is heavily tarnished and shows some scratches as well. Otherwise, there is no other cosmetic damage to make note of aside from some superficial scratches associated with normal play and use. Overall, this is a great sounding and playing guitar.
Fretwear
This guitar only has some slight wear on the first few frets. Plays great. Frets could use a quick cleanup during the next restring.
Action
Action is medium low and plays great, but may need a quick tweak to your liking.
Electronics
This guitar has had some electronic modifications. The original bridge pickup (not included) has been removed, and replaced with a Gretsch branded humbucker. This guitar has had it's original 5-way switch replaced with a 3-way switch, and the coil tap switch has been disconnected. The middle pickup is currently not connected, and the selector switch operates in the standard N, N+B, B configuration, but since the plate is flipped, all the controls remain in the factory location and are backwards. The replaced bridge pickup is also wired up out of phase with the neck pickup when both pickups are activated together, so this may need remedied.
