USED 2011 Gibson Melody Maker SG (357)

Physical Condition
This guitar is in good condition, but has been played quite a bit and shows quite a bit of wear. These guitars feature an extremely thin satin finish which is easily susceptible to wear, and that proves to be the case on this SG. There are multiple dents, dings, scratches, and scuffs over the body, along with some finish wear and finish chips over the body, neck, and headstock. There are also many areas where the finish has some hazing, artifacts, and texture present, and the finish has worn to a few different levels of gloss over the guitar. It also seems as if there's been a few stickers on this guitar during it's lifetime. This SG has also been modified; the pickguard has been changed, there is a sticker around the volume knob (which has also been changed) and the bridge has it's original intonation screws replaced with a set of longer screws. There are also some scratches on the pickguard, along with some tarnishing on the hardware. Otherwise, this guitar only has some typical wear from typical playing and handling. Great sounding and playing guitar.

Fretwear 
This guitar has some light wear on the first few frets, but plays great. Frets and fingerboard could use a quick cleanup during the next restring.

Action
Action is medium low and plays great, but could possibly use a quick tweak to your liking.

Electronics
This guitar has had a passive EMG pickup installed in the bridge. All electronics work properly and sound great.
