CloseThis guitar is being sold as a PROJECT and is in need of some work before it's gig ready.
This guitar has had a strap button improperly installed in the heel, which has cracked the heel nearly all the way through on both sides. The button is a Strap Lock type button with possibly a bit larger diameter screw, which is not threaded all the way into the heel and seems to be bottomed out where it stands currently. The cracked area seems to be sturdy for now, but this is an issue that needs to be seen and repaired by a tech or luthier ASAP.
Otherwise, this guitar is in acceptable condition, but has been played quite heavily and shows some wear. Most notably, these guitars feature a super thin satin finish which is easily prone to wear, and that proves to be the case on this guitar. There are some heavy strumming scratches on the top that extend past the pickguard in nearly all directions, and some of the scratches are fairly deep into the wood. There are some other assorted dents, dings, and rash over the body and back of the neck as well. There are also some scuffs and scratches over the instrument, along with a bit of tarnishing on the hardware and some dust in the nooks and crannies under the strings at the headstock and bridge that could use a quick cleanup during the next restring. Otherwise, there are a few light scuffs and swirl marks over the body, but solid condition overall. This is a great sounding and playing guitar.
Fretwear
This guitar only has some light wear on the first few frets. Plays great. Frets and fingerboard could use a quick cleanup during the next restring.
Action
Action is medium high and playable, but may require a quick tweak to your liking.
